A meteor shower released radiation that caused all life on Earth to mutate and grow larger. Or so Man had thought. "Big Moment", Wally Wood's last science fiction tale for EC marked the end of a beautiful era in comics. EC would discontinue not only Incredible Science Fiction with this issue, but all of its comics line, concentrating solely on the revamped, magazine version of MAD while Wood would, of course, continue his career for other publishers, including Marvel and DC. This beautiful post-apocalyptic page is rendered in ink, white paint, and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13.25" x 19.25".
