Check out this very nice 1959 spot illustration for page 37, which was drawn in mixed media by the great Wally Wood! This Pinup features a nice large image of Mad #49! Art is drawn on 8.4 by 7.5 inch thick art board, and is stamped MAD #49 in upper left with production notes! This art as drawn for then story titled: "A Best Seller Hits the Commercial Trail" and this was the scene when coon skin caps were popular after the Davy Crockett Disney TV show aired a few years earlier. Just a neat piece with the published image from MAD #49 shown directly below it!
