Dick Ayers penciled and the great John Severin inked this famous 1971 DR DOOM page, From this classic story titled: "The Monster and the Madman!" Page features a great Hulk transformation in its top three panels. Marvel's greatest villain, Doctor Doom, appears in two of the three bottom tier panels. The woman with him is Valeria, Doom's great love from his boyhood who he is essentially holding as a prisoner, a status she comments on here. Valeria was introduced in the Doctor Doom story in Marvel Super-Heroes #20 (1969). Reed and Sue Richards' daughter Valeria is named in honor of Valeria.
