Check out this very nice Published 1971 SYFY cover, which was penciled and inked by the great Jim Aparo! This very detailed cover features 2 astronauts planting a flag on a new planet which states: "WE THE FIRST HAVE COME IN PEACE!" We then see the astronauts looking to their right as they gasp and see a large totem pole and a genie looking bottle in the ground. Just a super detailed sci-fi cover signed in the art by Jim Aparo with a nice long letter from Jim Aparo to the publisher of the cover, explaining how he drew the cover. Art is drawn on 11" x 14" art board and letter can be seen in extra red link above.
