Check out this amazingly colorful 1934 Mickey Mouse original painting by artist E. Smetana. Created as promotional art featuring caricatures of famous performers from Montevideo Spanish language radio station CX. The artwork shows station numbers on a smoking microphone. This original measures 12" x 16.5". Great 7" Mickey image in the lower left of painting. Hand-signed by the artist, E. Smetana and dated 1934. Artwork is on art paper lightly affixed to 16" x 20.5" board, easily removed, and protected with a sheet of acetate. Some edge wear on the art with corner folds and age-related wear.
