In 1998 the U.S. Postal Service worked with DC Comics on a tie-in promotion as part of a much bigger program called "Celebrate the Century" where each decade of the 20th century would have a stamp sheet recognizing the top milestones of that decade as voted on by anyone who wanted to participate. Superman was one of the stamps chosen for the 1930s. The goal of the overall program was to generate interest in stamp collecting, especially among younger kids. DC created a superhero stamp album featuring this Double Page Spread drawn on 2 separate 11 by 17 inch art boards, with art by Dick Giordano drawing The Flash and the second Doctor Light both giving the reader Information on the 1930s revolution in design changes to make things easier to use. ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! Just send us an email to mikeburkey@aol.com and we can try to work something out. $700.00
