The Marvel Conan stories were adapted as a newspaper comic strip from September 4, 1978, to April 12, 1981. Alfredo Alcala drew this great Conan the Barbarian Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 7-13-80, featuring CONAN & SAMURAI YAMATO THROUGHOUT, drawn in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 20.75" x 9.5". There is mild toning, marginal pinholes, spots of whiteout corrections, blue production notes, the second panel in the top tier is stripped-in and all drawn.
