John Romita Sr. penciled and inked this entire cover for Marvel: Heroes & Legends #1 Front Cover in 1996. After john drew this finished front cover it was decided that the 6 famous Marvel artists (Steve Ditko, John Buscema, Sal Buscema, Ron Frenz, Gil Kane, & John Romita would draw a new cover based virtually exactly from John's first cover drawn here and the published cover became a wraparound cover. Romita drew a whopping 19 heroes on this great cover: including: Fantastic Four [Mister Fantastic; Thing; Invisible Girl; Human Torch]; Doctor Doom; Thor; Spider-Man; Iron Man; Hawkeye; Captain America; Daredevil, X-Men [Cyclops; Marvel Girl; Iceman; Angel; Beast; Professor X]; Nick Fury; & The Watcher, and the boy who is the main character of the story. Romita captures the scene from the cover perfectly in ink over blue pencil on 11" x 17" Bristol board. Slight toning and signed by Romita Sr. at the bottom.
