Check out this HISTORIC 1967 LARGE ART Amazing Spider-Man #59 cover, which was penciled and inked by the great John Romita, from the CLASSIC story titled: "The Brand of the Brainwasher!" This STUNNING 1967 cover features THE VERY FIRST TIME that Mary Jane Watson Appeared on a COVER, and WHAT A SCENE we have here as the super sexy Mary Jane is dancing as a Go-Go girl in a classic 1960s short metallic mini skirt at a club while Spider-Man is battling multiple bad guys of the kingpin just a few feet behind the curtain and the super sexy dancing Mary Jane Watson! John Romita pulled out all the stops on this cover, with his classic razor cut action lines as spider-Man smacks the bad guys, as well as Romita drawing the art all the way up and through the AMAZING SPIDER-MAN LOGO! The patrons watching the super sexy Mary Jane Watson were created with Craftint and placed onto the art board. Cover is drawn VERY large, with an actual DRAWN image area measuring a whopping 13.5 by 20.25 inches on a 16.75 by 22.5 inch art board. Cover is signed in silver ink at the bottom right of the cover by the great John Romita! There are whiteout touch-ups all around the cover with the curtain having the most. Many large art Marvel covers from this 1960s time period were drawn on trimmed art and then taped onto LARGER art board for production to create the comic book, and this cover was no different, as there is clear magic tape along the left, right, and top of the art board that does not reach into the drawn artwork, but the bottom of the cover has clear magic tape along the lower area under the lower stat title to the story! Large Art Silver Age "AMAZING SPIDER-MAN COVERS are next to IMPOSSIBLE to find in the hobby these days, so don't miss out on a ONCE IN A LIFETIME opportunity RIGHT HERE, to own an EARLY JOHN ROMITA SILVER Age 1967 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN COVER featuring the VERY FIRST TIME MJ EVER APPEARED ON A COVER!
