Check out this pretty incredible 1955 Wally Wood LARGE Art E.C. story, featuring Wally Wood's incredible art and storytelling. This nice story features Burt who longed for the day when he would be invited to be a pilot during World War 1 instead of being in the horrid, muddy trenches on the ground. He finally gets his chance. Unfortunately, he doesn't know is that he is replacing a downed and killed pilot, Lt. Blackton, whose locker he now inherits! The pages were created in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with each page having a drawn image area measuring 13" x 18" on much larger art board.
