Check out the detail on this STUNNING 1970 Flash Gordon type Warrior Sci-Fi illustration from the Master of the Macabre, Bernie Wrightson! The main characters are fully inked as well as the ocean and rocks below & highlights the great struggle between the two warriors, with all of the background foliage being penciled. This art is Wrightson starting at his best with his incomparable detailed inking, with a drawn image area of 10.75" x 15" on 15" x 20" thick illustration board. The art is Signed in lower right in pencil: "Wrightson '70". Outside of the art margins have tape from being taken off of a mat.
