Best known as the Modern Master of Horror, Bernie Wrightson is also fondly remembered for his unique take on Gotham's Guardian, having worked on Batman: The Cult, Batman/Aliens, Batman: Nevermore, and more. This DYNAMIC art was produced for the Maryland Funny-Book Festival Program cover, Letting fans know the show was being held on October 28th, 1973! Art comes with a copy of the actual program for that event. Art was drawn in ink over graphite on 11.5 by 17.5 inch Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 13.75" (same image size as a Bronze Age DC Cover!) There is a small tape tag near bottom of Batman's rt cowl measuring 1/2 by 1 inch that was inked. Original program measures 8.5" x 11".
