Gil Kane and Frank Giacoia did a stunning job drawing Morbius the Living Vampire, who gets his own FIRST SOLO issue for the first time right here! Gil Kane really turned out a blood-chilling cover for it! Having first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man in 1971 (issues #101, 102) then a two-issue appearance in Marvel Team-Up (#3 and 4), and his first solo story in the first issue of the Vampire Tales anthology, Morbius was still a relatively new character in the Marvel Universe in spite of being only 3 years old.
