Check out this "CLASSIC" 1971 EARLY BRONZE AGE Silver Surfer page, which was penciled by the great John Buscema, and inked by the great Sal Buscema, from the story titled: "What Power Unleashed?" This SWEET all out battle page features the Silver Surfer in 5 out of 6 panels battling the evil Durok the Demolisher in EVERY PANEL! One of the many things that John Buscema is well known for is his masterful artwork on the first Silver Surfer series, which he drew the first 17 out of the 18 issues. That legendary run ended in 1970, but Buscema drew one more Surfer story during this same era, "this" great Surfer battle page. Silver Surfer appearances during the 1970s are pretty rare as Stan Lee put a moratorium on using the character so he could write the Surfer himself, something he didn't find time to do until late in the decade. Early SILVER SURFER BATTLE pages are getting increasingly hard to find, so don't miss out on a great opportunity here to own a nice 1971 John Buscema SILVER SURFER BATTLE page! ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! Just send us an email to mikeburkey@aol.com and we can try to work something out.
