Check out this large sexy 1969 Bill Ward "JOKER" magazine illustration which reads: "I always said your hourglass figure would get you into trouble." Like the quicksand of an hourglass, these are the gags of our time. The gag came to the surface again in the October 1974 issue of Popular Cartoons. Created in charcoal with white paint over graphite highlights on toned paper that has been affixed to a slightly larger on 14.5" x 18.8" Bristol board for production purposes.
