John Totleben said that he created this beautiful 1991 painting for the people at DC because he really wanted to be one of the artists on one of the Sandman stories, So he created this piece to prove to Karen Berger and others that he was good at doing Sandman. He was very disappointed that he never got to work on any of the Sandman stories. Art is painted edge to edge on 9.8" x 12.6" textured art board. ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website!
