Howard's Conan tale, "The Tower of the Elephant", this strip follows the blind elephant god Yag-Kosha tearfully concluding his woeful tale to Conan. He recounts how the evil wizard-priest deceived him into revealing his secrets, only to imprison him and force him to construct the very tower that now serves as his prison.
