Check out this incredible Jim Lee penciled and and Scott Williams inked and wash toned HISTORIC 1st PAGE FROM THE Batman Hush 2 Prelude story titled: "The Promise!" Let's pickup right where we left off with the Hush Vol. 1 finale pages above, with the "Hush Prelude. On this one let's start with ComicBook.com's article focused on this Story praising not only the art, but the cryptic messaging throughout... "Justice League Unlimited #1 is a must-read for DC fans, and its Hush 2 preview is the icing on an already delicious cake. This four-page preview reintroduces readers to the character and makes a change to Hush: a new costume. On top of that, he looks to be preparing a list of targets, going through the members of the Batman family in his hideout. This whole thing is extremely cryptic, perfectly replicating the feel of the original story, but looking closer can reveal some hints as to what Hush's opening salvos of revenge are going to be." The new story begins with a bang showing Batman and his closest allies as chess characters on a board. Here he first picks up Batman's piece, then moves on. He picks up Huntress, knocks over Alfred, Picks up Red Hood, and then moves Catwoman. The background detail is off the charts, as well as the watered down ink wash for the chess players, setting up an incredible scene in the following pages... Art is signed by Jim Lee at bottom of page also. Compare this great page to the published comic book page in the red link above. ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! Just send us an email to mikeburkey@aol.com and we can try to work something out $13,000.00
