DAVY JONES DAILY (10-21-1961) & TWIN EARTHS DAILY STRIP ART (11-13-1961)

Here are a couple of great daily strips by the renowned veteran of pulps, comics, and comic strips Alden "AL" McWilliams. Both strips are from 1961 when McWilliams was drawing the action/adventure strip DAVY JONES and SIMULTANEOUSLY writing and drawing the science fiction/adventure strip TWIN EARTHS! These two strips are beautiful! They also come with a hand types and hand signed personal letter McWilliams wrote to the fan he gifted the 2 strips to (which can be seen in red link above) is included with the sale of the 2 art pieces, and he even lets the fan know that Oscar Lebeck (who wrote the TWIN EARTHS STRIP) had retired some years earlier and now McWilliams WROTE AND DREW all of the TWIN EARTHS strip. Cartoonist letters are scarce and finding one where they talk about what they do and/or reveal is hidden comics history--that's something special! Each strip measures 21" x 6.3".
