Check out This great historic 1991 piece of art here which is drawn on 11" x 17" Marvel Comics art board! Penciled and hand colored by the great RON FRENZ! This drawing shows Thor in his new costume WELL BEFORE he first appeared on the cover to THOR #433 with this new costume. Art was sent to Marvel to approve Thor's new look. Another virtually IDENTICAL piece penciled by Ron Frenz and inked by Brett Breeding was ultimately used for the corner box art but this piece here was drawn FIRST and the published corner box art was created virtually EXACTLY from this art piece to be used for THOR issues 433-457! Just a great piece of comic book history right here folks! The Thor image here measures 13.1 inches from top to bottom also so its quite large!
