Adventure Comics #461 p 13 (CLASSIC DEATH OF EARTH -2 BATMAN STORY AS DR FATE GETS DESTROYED!) 1978

Check out this "HISTORIC" BRONZE AGE 1978 DC page, which was penciled and inked by the great Joe Staton, from the story titled: "Only Legends Live Forever!" This nice page is from the FAMOUS story where the Earth-2 BATMAN GETS KILLED! This story was originally meant to be in ALL-STAR COMICS #75 but the title got canceled, so it got moved to Adventure Comics #461, and this page features Bill Jensen at the top of the twin Towers in Gotham City waiting to kill Police Commissioner Bruce Wayne, as DR. FATE tries to stop the all powerful super villain. We then see the defeated DR. FATE and several police officers defeated on the ground in the large bottom spread!
