The Doom Patrol #121 p 12 (HISTORIC DOOM PATROL DEATH ISSUE!) 1968

Check out this very nice, VERY RARE 1968 SILVER AGE DC "DOOM PATROL" page, which was penciled and inked by the great Bruno Premiani, from the VERY CLASSIC story titled: "The Beginning of the End!" This awesome page features THE ENTIRE DOOM PATROL team: The Chief, Elasti-Girl, Negative Man & Robotman, who ALL die a few pages later! The Evil Rouge & Captain Zahl, trap the heroes with weapons that rob them of their powers. They are given a choice: either allow themselves to be blown up, or the villains will blow up a small town in Maine. The heroes heroically choose to sacrifice themselves and get blown up. (In SHOWCASE #94 in 1977 it is revealed that ROBOT-MAN survived this bomb explosion in this 1968 issue that killed all of his team, and he teams up with "THE NEW DOOM PATROL" in SHOWCASE COMICS!
