Check out this STUNNING Large art 1962 Silver-Age Sci-Fi cover, which was penciled and inked by the great Murphy Anderson, from the CLASSIC story titled: "Raid of the Rogue Star!" Far-fetched and therefore irresistible, Anderson's smart and emotion-packed design imagines a climate-change catastrophe caused by a rogue star. Editor Julius Schwartz relished his science-fiction titles, which he insisted must be provocative and respectful of his readers' intelligence (He sought a prophetic voice, as well). Though better known for such superhero titles as The Flash and Justice League, Schwartz held fast to his Depression-era origins in SF fandom.
