Superman 1960s DC In HouseStyle Guide Illustration (Great Action Pinup!)
Al Plastino had a firm grip on the on-model look for Superman in the 1960s. Not surprising as he was also turning in pencil work for the Superman daily comic strip in the 1960s as well! This fine looking Man of Steel was created in ink over graphite with blue pencil shading on his entire body. art was drawn on 11.25" x 14.25" Bristol board with an image area of 7" x 8". Signed below the figure with production notes and resizing info on top and on back. The board is toned, with discolored patches from being matted at some point.
