Check out this SUPERB 1951 Wally Wood penciled and inked EC cover to lose your head over! LOL...... The detail of the shocked crowds faces, as they watch the blade released is quite a CUTTING EDGE VISUAL! Wood's fine figure work with a horror-themed foreground and a highly-detailed background are all what he was known for in his great 1950s EC era of cover work. This eye-grabbing cover was rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13.5" x 19.25". The logo and all masthead dressing are stat paste-ups, as are the floating heads of the Crypt-Keeper, the Old Witch, and the Vault-Keeper on the sidebar. The horror hosts have minor ink touch-ups, likely to clean up the stats and blend them into the background art. Wood's last name signature in the lower right of the Cover!
