Check out the beautiful detail on this Gil Kane penciled and Bernard Sachs inked 1959 Strange Adventures #113 Story Page. While editor Julius Schwartz plotted an expansion of the superhero revival beyond The Flash and Green Lantern, his broader range of SF titles sustained the mind-boggling momentum with essentially the same artists. Strange Adventures was such a flagship -- a comic-book counterpart to the prose-pulps' Analog in its belief in the imaginative intelligence of the reader (If Analog had been geared to appeal to smart 12-year-olds, that is). This sequence from writer Gardner Fox's "The Amazing Bridge of Light!" finds two scientists exposing an alien conspiracy involving a fantastic machine and a hidden bomb. ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! Just send us an email to mikeburkey@aol.com and we can try to work something out. Sold
