Captain America Pinup (1970s)

Check out this very nice, very RARE 1970's drawing, which was created entirely by the great JIM STERANKO! This Pinup features a nice large waist portrait image of a saluting Captain America, drawn large on 11 by 14 inch art board! Art is signed on the lower right side also! Steranko drawings are very uncommon and are always quickly purchased. His influence on comics is tremendous, and his regular panel pages are rare and very costly. These days you might find a standard and similar drawing of Nick Fury’s face if you are lucky. Offered here is a much earlier and detailed pencil drawing of The character most associated with Steranko— Captain America. A classic pose and more than a quick sketch, a nicely rendered drawing, boldly signed by the artist. If you could find a nice Steranko page it would cost at least $25,000.
