Check out this beautiful SILVER AGE 1968 DC BATTLE Cover, which was penciled by the great Carmine Infantino, and inked by Irv Novick, from the story titled: "Threat of the Triple Stars!" Two of the "Threat of the Triple Stars" are playing tug-of-war with Wonder Woman on this fantastic (but unused) fully finished Cover. The art is signed by Carmine Infantino in the lower margin. There is an onionskin overlay with intended story title banner, and text for Wonder Woman's word balloon ("Great Hera! --I -I can't break loose!"). The logo as a modern day paste-up. Wonder Woman's word balloon was changed to match her dialog on the printed cover ("Next to these Wonder Men-- I'm not a Wonder Woman!") The story title on the right of the cover is a paste-up on a hinged flap! The original HAND DRAWN Word Balloons are separate and shown in extra red link above with the vellum overlay which came with the cover art, showing the original 1968 Prelim vellum overlay and where the word balloons would be placed. SILVER AGE 1960's DC Superhero Covers are getting increasingly hard to find, so don't miss out on a great opportunity here to own a TOP NOTCH Silver Age 1968 Woman Woman cover! Compare this nice cover art to the published comic book in the red link above...This cover is far superior in content to the published cover by Irv Novick! ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! Send us an email to and we can try to work something out.
