THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN NEWSPAPER STRIP is 1 of the longest running syndicated SUPER-HERO STRIP EVER, spanning 42 years and 3 months. Check out this EARLY 1983 Amazing Spider-Man Daily Comic Strip, dated 7-16-1983. Though this strip was drawn after John Romita's run on ASM, it's quite clear to see that John Romita Sr worked on this strip, which he would do at times from 1981-1983 when Fred Kida or Larry Lieber were running behind schedule, and this art was purchased from John Romita's art rep in the early 1990s, and John Signed it as well for me personally, confirming he worked on it. On this great strip we see John Romita's drawing expertise everywhere! JJJ & ROBBIE ROBERTSON try to find Spider-Man, as we see SPIDER-MAN POSSESSED & ORDERED TO KILL A SEXY MJ IN THE LAST PANEL!?!? ***AS AN EXTRA BONUS, Stan Lee also dedicated THIS STRIP & GIFTED IT TO FAMED HANNA-BARBERA ARTIST: JERRY EISENBERG who drew such famous strips and animated cartoons like: The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, Wacky Races, Super Friends, and he worked in the layout department for hits like The Jetsons, Jonny Quest and The Huckleberry Hound Show.
