Check out this great piece of Fantastic Four history! This is the consummate image of Marvel's First Family, showcasing each member's abilities: Mr. Fantastic stretching, Invisible Girl disappearing, Human Torch flying ablaze, and the rocky Thing ready to dish out some damage! Created by FF writer/artist John Byrne, this illustration was first used for the corner box of Issue #258 (1983) and continued through #264 -- the next issue (#265) had a question mark in place of the Thing, after he left the team, and #266 had She-Hulk take his place, with the same art used for the remaining three members. The team with She-Hulk remained as the corner box through #304 (1987), With this corner box art ending a nearly four-year run on FF covers! Art measures 6.25" x 13.25" on 11" x 17" art board! Art is signed by John Byrne at the bottom and has nice margin notes to the right of the art which reads: "NEW CORNER SYMBOL - "FANTASTIC FOUR" and production notes below that for publishing. Just a great opportunity here to own a great splash from this GREAT title! Compare this great pinup to the published comic book corner box in the red link above. ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! Just send us an email to mikeburkey@aol.com and we can try to work something out.
