This electrifying fully penciled Buscema splash page was just starting to get inked, as it showcases the VERY FIRST full-frontal, full-figure appearance of Logan in his first ongoing solo series! Logan confronts and actually KILLS pirate Banapur Khan and his crew with claws popped, in a classic retort scripted by Chris Claremont. A departure from the character fans had known in X-Men books, the series revealed Logan's layered persona and mysterious past, solidifying his iconic Marvel legacy. graphite on 11" x 17" Bristol board.
