Check out this beautifully rendered Herb Trimpe penciled and inked 1970 cover. Trimpe's dynamic composition catches Lance "Outlaw Kid" Temple in the act of thwarting a railroad hijacking against formidable odds. Everybody seems doomed, for the train is crashing into a barrier. This 1970s series consisted initially of internal re-runs of Outlaw Kid stories from the 1950s -- the best-selling example of Marvel's recycled Western titles, spiked by the appeal of such new-art covers as this one. Ink over blue pencil on 11" x 17" Bristol board. Just a great cover! Compare this nice cover art to the published comic book in the red link above! ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! Just send us an email to mikeburkey@aol.com and we can try to work something out. $5,500.00
