Check out this stunning EARLY Ernie Chan penciled and inked Conan Sunday Comic Strip Original Art, dated 3-11-79 (King Features, 1979). This strip is jsut 6 months into the almost 3 year run on the Conan strip. CONAN IS FEATURED IN 6 OF 7 PANELS BATTLING 2 GIANTS BATTLING FOR 2 WIZARDS AS THE SEXY QUEEN WATCHES! Ernie Chan (earlier named Chua) began his career as an assistant to Tony DeZuniga, during Tony's work on romance features, and Ernie was the third Filipino talent to work at DC, but he soon moved over to Marvel where he established himself as a fan-favorite with his inking over John Buscema's pencils on the Conan comic book and magazine. Ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with panels that have been affixed to another board with an image area of 21" x 9.5".
