Check out this "COSMIC" 1969 SILVER AGE SILVER SURFER action page, which was penciled by the great John Buscema, and inked by the great Dan Adkins, from the classic Surfer story titled: "O, Bitter Victory!" As Yarro Gort plans on finishing off the Silver Surfer, Shalla Bal intends to stop him and she is shot by El Capitan. The Surfer's hauntingly pained scream is perfectly captured in the last panel!
