THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN NEWSPAPER STRIP is 1 of the longest running syndicated SUPER-HERO STRIP EVER, spanning 42 years and 3 months. Check out this 1982 Amazing Spider-Man Daily Comic Strip, dated 11-27-1982. Though this strip was drawn after John Romita's run on ASM, John Romita Sr worked on strips, at times from 1981-1983 when Fred Kida or Larry Lieber were running behind schedule, and this art was purchased from John Romita's art rep in the early 1990s, and John Signed it as well for me personally, confirming he worked on it. PETER & TANA ARE CAPTURED BY THIEVES AS A SPIDER-MAN SPECTRE IS SEEN IN THE SKY. This one for me has less of a Romita feel to it even though John insisted he worked on it, so I'm pricing it accordingly. Art drawn on 16" x 7.25" art board.
