Marvel Universe Series One Ultimate Captain America Action Figure Card Art (2008)

Check out this beautiful oversized Packaging Illustration Original Art (Marvel/Hasbro, 2008). The Star-Spangled Avenger from the Ultimate Universe leaps right off the page in this illustration that was featured on the packaging of the 2008 Captain America action figure from Hasbro's Marvel Universe line. While Ultimate Cap is still armed with his signature shield and features many of the same costume elements as his mainline counterpart, this tougher version of the character sports a lot of pouches, wears lace-up combat boots, and does not have wings on his cowl. Rendered by the ever-popular Frank Cho, in ink over graphite on 14" x 21.25" Bristol board. There is a preliminary sketch in pure graphite on the back of the board, whiteout corrections, and some unerased lines. Signed by Cho below Image.
