Check out his beautifully drawn Nick Cardy penciled and inked Superboy #187 Cover from 1972. This alternate take seems to be an almost half-step between the covers for Superboy issue #186 and #187 (both by Nick Cardy)with Superboy helping prisoners bust out of prison! The prison guards are almost identical to their images on the 187 comic book. The top margin of this board is noted 186, so it may have been originally intended for that issue. Signed by Cardy in the lower margin. Just a great cover! Compare this nice cover art to the published comic book in the red link above!
