Check out this beautiful Original Doctor Strange splash page by P. Craig Russell, circa 1972. The splash page is rendered in ink over graphite on a 11.75" x 16.4" art board. Written on back of art board (which can be seen in red link above) is written: "This image is the first page of my six page application portfolio for Marvel Comics in the spring of 1972. The six pager featured my favorite Marvel character, Dr. Strange." This splash page was the only one of the six that I inked at that time" P. Craig Russell (written on the reverse and signed by Russell!
