Check out the detail on John Buscema's penciled and inked cover here, with Full-body figures of the Silver Surfer and Mantis soaring past a commanding Galactus, as the Surfer once again takes on the role of herald! This cover art is remarkably similar to the final published version, with only the altered positioning of Mantis' body & costume, and the facial expressions of both her and the Surfer, hinting at any differences. Galactus looks exactly like the printed cover image. These subtle changes suggest that Bill Sienkiewicz, the inker for the printed cover and the issue, may have inked this piece separately from John Buscema's printed art here. Rendered in ink over blue pencil and graphite on Marvel Comics Bristol board. Them comic cover wrap is included with the cover art.
