Check out this very nice 1984 FULL BATTLE SPLASH, which was penciled by Alan Kupperberg, and inked by the great Mike Mignola, from the story titled: "Assault on the Empire!" This nice SPLASH features the entire Defenders team: Valkyrie, Moondragon, Gargoyle, Beast, Iceman, Angel battling over 40 soldiers! The Angel image was drawn on board and drawn again on another art board and placed over original similar image as his costume was changed.
