During the 38 issue HISTORY of the "AMAZING" Spider-Man comic books during the Steve Ditko era..... If you asked most hard core Spider-Man fans and collectors what the 2 most memorable moments were during those ever classic 38 issues....Most would probably say Spider-Man's ORIGIN, with how Peter Parker became Spider-Man in Amazing Fantasy #15 / and again retold in Amazing Spider-Man #1 would be at or near the top of their list, because we all couldn't believe how this scrawny bookworm kid could get super powers, yet still have a million problems that didn't even pertain to his Super abilities! Now if you asked these same people what would be their other most MEMORABLE MOMENT during those first 38 issues...... I'd venture to say that a majority of people would tell you that the Spider-Man TRILOGY from ASM 31-33 would be right up there near the top of their list as not only their greatest Spider-Man moment....but arguably 1 of the ALL-TIME greatest Marvel stories and artwork ever produced since Stan (The Man) Lee created these "AMAZING" heroes for all of us to enjoy way back in 1961, starting with The Fantastic Four #1! For me personally...... The end of that 3 issue Story arc, with Dr. Octopus and Spider-Man battling at the end of Amazing Spiderman #32..... and the ENTIRE Amazing Spider-Man #33 book..... That was just the greatest story-telling and the greatest artwork I personally have ever witnessed in a comic book! What we have right here for sale is the VERY PAGE where Spider-Man goes crazy and starts destroying the underwater hideout of Dr. Octopus....as the very large top spread of this huge 3 panel page features Dr. Octopus screaming while the roof and machinery come tumbling down on top of him and A very large image of Spider-Man! In the huge lower left panel we see for the VERY FIRST TIME.....Spider-Man trapped under the large machinery, and then that ever classic large locomotive sized piece of machinery sliding down on top of our Amazing Arachnid in the 3rd super sized panel! This very page is the VERY START to arguably the GREATEST 8 page sequence "EVER" in comic book history (Not just in Spider-Man's history!) The last 3 pages to ASM 32 (pages 18-20) and the first 5 pages to ASM 33....these 8 pages are shear poetry, and the writing makes such a powerful statement as has ever been written in a comic book...or ANY BOOK for that matter, as Spider-Man strives to lift this huge machinery off his back! Steve Ditko's visuals to help the reader capture Stan Lee's Plea to Peter Parker and Spider-Man, that you can never.... EVER give up.... under any circumstances, when the people you love are counting on you the most! Even when the odds are so far against you that everything seems hopeless....THAT'S when it matters the most that you NOT GIVE UP! This page right HERE is the start to the greatest 8 page sequence in comic book history! Enjoy! ALL HIGH end pieces of art, including this one, are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payment plan options, and trades are always considered towards this and "ANY" art on our website!
