In Homage to the great MAD artist Don Martin (you can see Byrne signed the piece - "John Byrne from an idea by Roger Stern with apologies to Don Martin") This great cover features Powerman (Luke Cage) and Iron Fist performing on stage together! On the back side Byrne wrote "Tho't you guys might like to 'preview' Marvel's newest Super-Team, John". He also included his address in Canada. This May be Byrne's FIRST published Power Man/Iron Fist cover! The cover is drawn on smaller than standard board, which measures approximately 9 1/2" by 13 1/2". Also, please note that it does have some wear, as you should be able to see the crease marks in the scan. There is a crease line through the middle (it is slightly above the knees of both characters), but otherwise the other creasing is basically only in the blank margin areas and does not affect the actual art area. Very fun piece, that also has a cool historical aspect to it. Compare this nice cover art to the published comic book in the red link above, COOL! jg
