Check out this very cool 1976 Star Trek cover which was penciled and inked by the great Science fiction artist: Stephen Fabian! This Stunning cover from Enterprise Incidents #1 features a VERY famous pose of Mr. Spock from the episode where he has to battle Captain Kirk to the DEATH! Stephen Fabian is an American artist specializing in finely detailed science fiction and fantasy illustration and cover art for books and magazines. He was self-taught, two of his primary influences being Virgil Finlay and Hannes Bok. Fabian was a recipient of the World Fantasy Award for Life Achievement in 2006. He has also been a two-time nominee for the Hugo Award for Best Fan Artist (1970 and 1971), and a seven-time nominee for the Hugo Award for Best Professional Artist (1975-1981). The way Fabian draws his artwork is like looking at a Virgil Finlay cover with his black miniature DOTS he uses to create tones with his inks...this piece is simply Breath-taking and any Star Trek Fan will love this amazing piece which is signed with Fabian's classic "SF" in the lower right of cover! Art image measures 8.25 by 10.25 inches on an 11 by 14 inch art board. Compare this nice cover art to the published 1976 magazine cover in the red link above, COOL!
