Growing up reading comics in the mid 1970s into the mid 1980s, there were 2 comicbooks I read which stood out above ALL the rest, and were the most memorable EVER to me...... 1 was the classic "THE KID WHO COLLECTS SPIDER-MAN!" from Amazing Spider-man #248, and the other was this cover and story to this AMAZING piece of history right here! I consider this cover right here, to be the most memorable and most valuable Ron Wilson cover EVER DRAWN!.... BAR NONE! If you haven't picked up this comic book and ever read it before, i'll be shocked if a tear doesn't run down your cheek by the end of the story if you are a TRUE BELIEVER of this AMAZING World of super heroes we call "MARVEL!" This amazing cover was incredibly inked by the great FRANK GIACOIA, and features Marvels 7 STRONGEST most POWERFUL heroes: The Thing, Thor, Hulk, Colossus, Sasquatch, Sub-Mariner, and Wonder Man, who must all battle "THE CHAMPION" 1 at a time, in a boxing ring.... and if these 7 heroes all fail....THE EARTH DIES! But the ending is far different from ANYTHING you could have imagined if you don't already know the story! This cover is an ICONIC image and should not be passed up if you can help it! This one RIGHT HERE is a Marvel CLASSIC FOREVER! 'NUFF SAID!
