Mary Marvel, the twin sister of Captain Marvel's alter ego Billy Batson, strikes a pin-up pose in this full color piece by AC Comics editor Bill Black. Black is quite the aficionado of the heroes of the 1940s and 50s and especially those of the female persuasion. This pin-up probably dates from the 1970s and it was likely done for a fanzine. It is executed on heavy paper in ink and acrylic, and it is signed by Black at the lower right. Art is drawn on a nice 11.5" x 14.5" art board.
