Check out this very nice, very HISTORIC BRONZE AGE 1972 page, which was penciled and inked by the great Mike Ploog, from the story aptly titled: "Ghost Rider!" This nice page is actually the 1 and "ONLY PAGE" from this story ever offered for PUBLIC SALE (as the other 21 pages are split between a few collectors.) Ghost Rider only appeared on 7 of the 22 pages from this entire story as most of this historic first appearance story is character development, and of course the ORIGIN of how Johnny Blaze gets his HELL SPAWN POWERS! This page here is in essence the start of the GHOST RIDER ORIGIN SEQUENCE as it features the 3 main characters of the story as Johnny Blaze, Crash Simpson, Roxanne Simpson are all together when Crash states he has cancer and only has a month to live, whereby they can not do their famous motorcycle stunts together when they finally just got their big break to perform a MADISON SQUARE GARDEN! Johnny Blaze on the next pages decides to sell his soul to the DEVIL (MEPHISTO) so that Crash doesn't die form his cancer, and as typical with doing a deal with the devil, Crash dies from the motorcycle accident at Madison Square Garden! There is a 9 inch repaired tear (with magic tape on front and back) going from panels 3 and 5. This could be repaired with a good art restorer if wanted. BRONZE AGE Marvel Super hero pages are getting increasingly hard to find, so don't miss out on a great opportunity here to own an ICONIC Bronze Age 1972 page from GHOST RIDER'S VERY FIRST APPEARANCE ISSUE! ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! Just send us an email to mikeburkey@aol.com and we can try to work something out.
