MAN HUNTER Penciled & Marker Large Pinup (1987)

This next Comment is from WALT SIMONSON'S WIKIPEDIA PAGE: "Simonson's breakthrough illustration job was "Manhunter" in November 1973, a backup feature in DC's Detective Comics written by Goodwin, which cemented Simonson's professional reputation. In a 2000 interview, Simonson recalled, "What 'Manhunter' did was to establish me professionally. Before 'Manhunter,' I was one more guy doing comics; after 'Manhunter,' people in the field knew who I was. It'd won a bunch of awards the year that it ran, and after that, I really had no trouble finding work!" Check out this very nice 1987 Pinup, which was penciled and inked in permanent marker by the great Walt Simonson! This Pinup features a nice large image of MAN HUNTER drawn in 1987! Art is drawn edge to edge on 11 by 14 inch tanned vellum, and is signed and dated at the bottom right! Just a neat piece!
