Check out this beautiful Alex Saviuk penciled and Murphy Anderson inked Superman Taschenbuch #79 Cover Original Art as superman battles: Terraman [Tobias "Toby" Manning]; Billy the Kid, Jesse James, and Butch Cassidy! "Superman Quarterly" was DC's internal name for a series it produced between 1981-1985 for European publisher Ehapa, whose demand for Superman material wasn't satisfied even by the multiple series the Man of Steel was starring in. The digest-sized German publication is noted above, though the issue (#17 in DC's numbering) may have appeared in other countries as well. There were plans for possible later reprinting in the U.S. that were foiled by a major problem: John Byrne's Man of Steel relaunch after the Crisis on Infinite Earths meant Superman's world had changed and the tales were outdated. This cover is a bit reminiscent of Superman #249 because it features the same villain, Terra-Man. DC VIP Murphy Anderson's inking on this cover is quite spectacular! cover is regular size, drawn on 11 by 176 inch DC cover stock. Compare this nice cover art to the published comic book in the red link above! ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website!
