Check out this STUNNING 1964 SILVER AGE 2ND YEAR IRON MAN SPLASH page, which was penciled by the great Don Heck, and inked by the great Dick Ayers, from the story titled: "Suspected of Murder!" This AWESOME SPLASH page features the compelling image of Tony Stark trapped by a gigantic Iron Man in a canister-like object. Due to an injury of his heart during a battle with the Black Knight in the previous issue, Tony Stark is stuck having to wear his Iron Man suit 24-hours a day to stay alive. On this title splash, we see Tony's nightmarish daydream reflecting how this awful situation makes him feel trapped like an insect in a jar. Note that the page features the Stan Lee-scripted blurb "Re-Introducing the Sensational Hawkeye and the Beautiful Black Widow!" This story featured Hawkeye's second appearance ever following his introduction a few months earlier in Tales of Suspense #57. It was the Black Widow's fourth appearance! SILVER AGE Marvel Super hero pages are VERY hard to find in the hobby these days, so don't miss out on a great opportunity here to own a nice SILVER Age 1960s Marvel page! ALL art on our website (including this one) are able to be purchased with VERY fair time payments, and trades are always considered towards "ANY" art on our website! Just send us an email to mikeburkey@aol.com and we can try to work something out.
