Check out this very nice 1978 Avengers cover, which was penciled by the great George Perez, and inked by the great Joe Sinnott, from the story titled: "Night of the Beast!" This nice cover features the current 1978 Avengers: [Beast - 3 times drawn; Captain America [Steve Rogers]; Wonder Man; and The Wasp] This cover art was FULLY penciled by the great George Perez, and Inked by the great Joe Sinnott, and this art was lost for a short while during the production process. When the deadline was coming for this cover, John Buscema took a stat image of THIS VERY COVER and quickly drew the cover used for publication. George Perez drawn 1970's AVENGERS artwork is some of the most valuable and most sought after Perez artwork in the entire comic art collecting hobby, and this great Avengers cover inked by Joe Sinnott is simply stunning to look at.
